We decided against using WordPress for our eCommerce clients because we wanted something that didn't require constant updating and fixing - we wanted something that just worked!

While there are plenty of good reasons to stick with it otherwise, when you want your business to be online and selling products already, choose a platform specifically built for eCommerce instead of trying to learn WordPress and having to install a variety of plugins.
